We moved into the house in Goole and Pickfords emptied the house in Brighouse, but the sale had still not happened. Then things started to look up. Contracts were finally signed and we found another boat which we made an offer on which was accepted. two days after completion of the house sale we became the proud owners of narrowboat Charybdis. The boat  was moored at Blue Water Marina in Thorne so we moved on board and upped the workrate on the Goole house. Our plan now was to set off on our travels after putting the Goole house on the market in June
